RAID Inc. Releases DataEdge Transporter
LAWRENCE, MA – RAID, Inc. has announced the launch of the DataEdge Transporter™ (“DET”) product to its portfolio to address high-capacity data transfers between edge locations to address best practices using FIPS-2 with TPM version 2 media. The system boasts dual port 200GbE connectivity and over 350TB of flash storage per 2U rack and comes with a highly durable roll-away carrier to bring from one location to the next. The out-of-the-box architecture delivers up to 8GB per second and is fully TAA-compliant, making it ideal for the highest levels of data security and government missions.
In today’s rapidly evolving landscape of edge use cases and the expansion of multi-cloud and multi-datacenter infrastructures, the need for high-performance, large-capacity storage at the point of use has never been more critical. The DataEdge Transporter addresses this challenge by providing organizations with data center or cloud-like storage capabilities, even in environments where network connectivity is not feasible due to cost or poor connectivity. With the DataEdge Transporter, organizations can overcome these obstacles and gain a significant advantage in completing their tasks more efficiently and effectively.
“We are extremely excited about DET,” stated Marc DiZoglio, General Manager of RAID. “For years, we’ve been at the forefront of utilizing NVMe in traditional server-based configurations. However, our customers have expressed a need for a solution that offers greater portability and enhanced security. We are excited to address this demand and are pleased to welcome this new offering into our solutions portfolio. There are instances where this product can save weeks, if not months of time, in the movement of critical data for analysis.”
The DataEdge Transporter is ideally suited for government and military operations, remote research, geophysical and seismic exploration, data ingestion, cloud transport, security data movement, and other applications that require rapid data transfer and the highest levels of data security.
