RAID Inc. Introduces SAN / NAS RAID Level 10 Solution called Fusion™

Lawrence, MA - RAID Inc has combined the latest in a storage gateway with the performance, cost and critical availability of a SATA-2 network RL10 SAN which can be seamlessly integrated into any IT infrastructure. RAID recently implemented its new Fusion solution to address customers' needs of adding storage to an existing network with an active directory of services from a single console at performance levels near that of fibre channel.

SAN/NAS Fusion RL10 Solution
The fusion of these technologies offers user's the highest level of performance with block level data transfers at a very high availability that once was the preferred architecture of main frame environments at a cost that is up to 50% less than traditional Fibre Channel based RAID 5 solutions. Incorporating this with the latest release of Microsoft's SSA, RAID Inc. produces a gateway that is 30 to 80% faster than earlier releases. Advanced features such as heterogeneous file sharing and volume copy services, multi-path I/O support and clustering capabilities make this the universal choice for users that want simplicity and ease of use in existing networks.

With the SAN / NAS RL 10 Fusion Solution, RAID's customers will be able to realize a significant cost savings on SAN expansion efforts compared to other options on the market. The Fusion solution combines features of the storage gateway such as file sharing, volume copy shadow services, multi-pathing and clustering with features of the RL10 SAN including higher performance, faster reads and writes than RAID 5 solutions, scalability over 100TBs and highest availability with multiple mirror sets.
