Performance and Cost
RAID Inc. provides an enterprise back-up and archive solution that is up to 65% faster in back ups and 95% faster in recoveries than traditional tape library products at a significantly lower cost by using 7200RPM SATA disk drives. The 12 port dual Fibre RAID foundation building block is capable of sustaining throughputs of up to 1200MB/s which can be allocated between host and disk for varying performance needs.

Scalability
The base system starts at 6TB with the flexibility to add in building block units to a total of over 1PB. This allows customers to add resources when needed without incurring major upfront costs for an under-utilized technology asset.

The RAID Inc. solution utilizes the latest RAID technology with no single point of failure, featuring dual engine active fail-over capability. StorageWatch®, the industry’s only real-time 24/7 remote monitoring and management service, is incorporated with each solution making it the most available solution of its kind on the market today. With StorageWatch, RAID’s storage engineers handle remote monitoring, administration and management of the entire Disk Library which frees up customers IT personnel to focus on core business issues.

Ease of Implementation
The RAID Inc. Disk Library allows the disk based solution to appear as a tape-library and tape-drives to handle the backup. Thus eliminating the need of retraining personnel or adding expensive software upgrades.
